A training programme for individuals involved in leading children’s and families or youth ministry.
This programme is an exciting opportunity to invest in your practical skills and grow in your leadership and discipleship journey. Whether you are full time, part time, or volunteering you will be part of a cohort of others who are passionate about seeing children and young people grow in faith and thrive in the church. Our hope is that this training will continue to support and develop your gifts and skills and refine your calling to Children and Young People.
The 2027 programme has been divided into three modules:
- Understanding the World of Children & Young People
- How to Run a Thriving Youth & Children’s Ministry
- Equipping Children & Young People for Lifelong Discipleship
The training will be delivered through three in-person modules across six months. The days are designed to maximise your learning, and so will feature a mixture of content, space for reflection and shared learning, as well as opportunities to demonstrate that learning through interactive feedback. As part of the programme, you have the option to receive coaching from an Accredited Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation or to complete assignments.
See below the details of the 2027 programme. For more information, please contact tom.ranger@southwell.anglican.org.
