All MATs and VA schools are their Own Admission Authorities (OAAs).  This brings specific legal responsibilities as set down in the Schools Admissions Code.  This session will explore in practical terms what it really means for OAAs to fulfil their statutory obligations; for example, going out to public consultation when a school or academy wishes to change its arrangements and setting clear over subscription criteria, particularly faith criteria.

This course is suitable for headteachers, office or business managers, admissions officers, governors on admission committees.
