Vision 2030
Course For Lent in 2024, the diocese has released a special Lent course based around the seven areas of focus of the refreshed diocesan vision.
Whilst this is not a ‘vision course’ (look out for more information on the refreshed diocesan vision coming next month), we hope that it will help to start opening the conversation in your church or small group about these different areas and the part they play in discipleship: individually, as a parish, and as part of the wider diocese. The course includes seven stand-alone sessions, each one based on a different area of focus. Each session follows the same basic structure, so that you can ‘pick and mix’, deciding which of the seven sessions you’d like to include in your Lent course. Each session is centred around a Bible passage, and include opening worship, a video reflection, discussion questions, a short prayer and some suggested follow up resources.
The session titles are:

- Enhancing Diversity
- Growing Leaders
- Enabling Commitment
- Encouraging Generosity
- Nurturing Prayer
